The Grand Lisboa was designed by teams of International architects and interior designers. The property is shaped like a giant lotus flower and opened in 2007 just before Chinese New Year; with 240 gaming tables, 480 slots, and six restaurants. The new Grand Lisboa is connected by a footbridge with the original Hotel Lisboa which Stanley Ho opened back in 1971.
The remainder of the complex, which includes a 47-storey tower, will open with 430 hotel rooms later this year. With a breathtaking light show from the world’s largest integrated LED screen installed on the Grand Lisboa’s exterior, Ho has clearly upped the ante on his competitors.

Casino Lisboa features a number of Casino rooms for your choosing. The largest one the Crystal Palace Casino is the main casino pit that is about the size of the old pit at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas. It is quite crowded and there is very heavy security. The main pit features about 50 tables most of which are baccarat, blackjack, sicbo, three card baccarat. There is also a slot room below the main pit (non smoking) that has a ton of video slots, a handful of video poker machines and a number of electronic baccarat machines. Casino Lisboa is crowded, smoky, dense and noisy, possibly because it is such a small room. The drink service features juice, coffee, water, tea and some white bread sandwiches with the crusts cut off - all complimentary. Be sure to wash your hands after leaving this joint and playing here as the Chinese have very different standards regarding hand to nose to mouth contact then folks from the West do. Thats not to say they're gross, but they like picking their noses a lot. Casino Lisboa has one of the most expansive, densely packed casinos in Macau despite its being one of the oldest joints in town. They offer Baccarat, Roulette, Blackjack, Fantan, Cussec, SicBo, FanTan, Mahjong, Paigow, Slots and electronic baccarat and poker tables.
