Rio is a pretty nice joint, the decor is classical hotel architecture but the casino has definitely shown some wear. The table minimums start at HK$25 for roulette inside bets to HK$100 for baccarat and blackjack and go higher. The crowd is reasonably friendly although not much, if any, English is spoken here.
Is it possible to have a casino that is shiny and clean and run down as well? If this makes sense to you then you understand the Rio. The facilities are very well kept, but the table games are quite worn and possibly need to have their felt and chips replaced.
